Merry Christmas!

"Whenever I see girls and boy selling lanterns on the street, I remember the child in the manger as he sleeps..."

This are the famous lines that I always get to hear every time my dad plays a Christmas song when the calendar reaches its "-ber" month. I have been listening to this same song for the past years and I still never get tired of it and whenever I heard of this song no matter where I am. It reminds me of home. Home a word that makes my heart flutter and warm. Home a word that rings happiness to my ears.

Home the most perfect place to spend Christmas together with your loved ones which I whole heartily agree. This are one of the things that I enjoy doing the most. My family and I loved Christmas. The days passed so very fast and now it's FINALLY HERE!

Every year I always woke up with a nudge on the shoulder or a very heavy shake from my mom or sister. Having that kind of treatment only means one thing...cousins, nephews, nieces, godsons and daughters are on the attack mode and it's about time for me to run and hide... just kidding!

Did you know what are some of the things I love about Christmas?  It's to be a Santa even just for a day. I love wrapping and giving presents. Though it occasionally gives me a headache especially when it comes to choosing and deciding what things to buy, even so, it was fun. The fruit of my labor paid off every time I see their bright faces upon receiving the presents. It makes my heart much warmer.

After all the ruckus and the frequent exchange of Christmas greetings. My family and I went to church to attend the Christmas mass even if the weather is a little off and it sometimes drizzle. It didn't stop me and my family for having the Christmas spirit.

My sister and I took a selfie along the way.

Another segway along the way.
Attending mass as a family is a MUST. We always go together and no excuses. It's a tradition that my family kept doing for many years. Rain or shine we must attend because celebrating the birth of Christ and rejoicing for he is the savior is what Christmas is about.

When the mass has ended, they decided to go to the mall with me tagging along since my eldest sister was planning to buy something for my dad and so we went a bit of a shopping. Wearing high heels is definitely not a good idea especially if you spent couple of minutes standing in the church and now strolling in the mall. (My feet hurts T_T) . So a girls got to do what a girls got to do. I bought my self a pair. (whew!)

Now, I'm set! We went for a couple of boutiques, checking out their products with eye popping prices (even though they're on sale!). We stopped by at Toys R Us as we went on our way home because my cute little nephew was starting to loose control of himself. ;)

While waiting I dragged both of my parents for a selfie and what do you know they're game. It's sort of contagious really cause after taking a pic I noticed some of the family beside us who were just standing  and was looking at us started taking selfies after they witnessed how my parents were cool about it, laughing and asking for another shot. :D

My most important people in the whole wide world.

"Home is where your heart is" I heard and read that line many times. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out and  truly, spending Christmas with your family is simply the best!
