Sad Good-Bye

My poetic side strikes again! And why is it that every time I try to make a poem it always happens in a very gloomy day? Is this some sort of a pattern or something? Like a trigger perhaps? Even so, this is what I do know, I've said it before and I'm going to say it again. When my poetic side comes it is something I cannot, repeat, I CANNOT just ignore. If you please, bear with me (^_^)

Here's a piece that has been stashed up for quiet sometime now. This little piece of mine also happens to reflect about my perspective after rereading one of my favorite books----"A Walk to Remember", which I know you have read or watched. I have blogged about it too.

And now without further ado, let me take a minute of your time and read "Sad Good- Bye".

Sad Good-Bye

My love for you will never fade
yet you're led and far away.
My love for you will always be the same
though, you can't feel it in anyway.

I can't take the fact that you are gone.
Leaving me here sad and undone.
But, somethings tell me that I should never regret.
Instead, I should be thankful that you and I met.

Though this would be the last time that I could see you,
Still my heart beats only for you.

The New Do!

The title is a dead giveaway and I think you already know what that means. I, Weird Kim had changed my hair color for the first time in forever. From my usual black hair to light golden blonde. In all honesty, changing my hair color was the second option. I intentionally want to cut my hair shorter---like neck length short-er. My idea however, was not sort of supported by the majority. Mom was cool about it, Dad was not. My second elder sister was cheering me on. The eldest was half and half. I may have had second thoughts about doing it but I'm pretty much adamant that I will cut my hair. Then, the second option came in courtesy of, don't get shock alright? Emma Stone.

Why her? trust me it's a long story and I wanted to keep this post as short as possible. To simply put, my sister (the eldest) suggested that I should try to change the color instead and she wants it to be just like Emma Stone's. Though, my hair color's is a bit different from hers. Emma's hair was ash blonde. For you to achieve it you need to bleach you hair and I don't want to bleach my hair. So, I settled for a color that doesn't need any bleaching but the color is visible. My sister (second eldest) who accompanied me to the salon has a theory. According to her since I've decided to dye it. I should at least make it noticeable because it's not worth it if it's just plain simple. She has a point if I may say. Though, in my case I wouldn't like to go to the extreme, so I settle for a less noticeable color.

And Viola! Here it is.

So...What do you think?

If I Stay

For these past few days, I have been too preoccupied mostly with books (like when did it NEVER made me preoccupied?) In my defense, there's just so many good books these days that I, a self confessed bookworm, can't sit still and just ignore it.

Because of these books which by far, some are not yet even sold in the country, I have no other choice but to wait patiently. Lucky for me, having patience happens to be one of my virtues so, I guess it's alright. Or not. Anyways, that's enough dilly-dallying and let me get straight to point. Remember when I said there are so many good books out there? Yes. That one. I, just happened to came across one and it's a really good book I tell you. Considering the fact that it made me cry (or I'm just a cry baby? O.o I don't know which one it is).

The book was written by Gayle Foreman which has the title "If I Stay".

When all your choices are gone except one,
What will you do?
Will you take it?
Will you stay?

Mia is a musically gifted 17 year old girl who loves her friends and family so much. When her family takes a drive one morning everything changes. She soon struggles to hang on taking everything that has happened to her. Holding on to a reason she thought exists, but, what would she do when she finds out that the only thing she hoped for is lost and for that only one thing matters to her now. What will she do?

Would she leave her love for music behind?
Would she leave the other people who are waiting for her?
Would she leave the man she loved?

Her choices are long gone. Except for one. And that is all that matters. The question is:

Would she take it?
or Leave it?

Be part of this book that widens your mind about three things:

1. The power of love
2. The meaning of family
3. The choices that we make.

Girl of Nightmares

When Anna opened a door to another world to save Cas and his friends. Cas was left broken and not wanting to live. Wherever he goes he can see and hear her. She was screaming in pain and was calling out to him. The more he gets distracted, the more he's putting his and his friends lives in danger. What turned out to be a hallucination is a reality that Cas feared the most.

Anna was in pain.
Anna was calling out to him.
He was seeing Anna.
His Anna.

The question is how to get her out there?
Knowing that Anna is in a place where the living is not supposed to go into---in Hell.
What are the consequences for his actions to save the girl he loves?
Would he live through it?
Or would he just let her go?

This is the second and the final book of Anna Dressed in Blood.

A Little Piece of That!

Summer's gone. Classes are commencing. The skies are being murky. Soon the roads will be covered with drizzles. The so hot weather before will now be replaced with a cool one.

As I looked outside the window to see if it rains, a message from my Skype suddenly popped into my computer's screen which made me smile and remember. I'm sure your curious about the contents of the message so I tweaked a little bit of here and there to get this "chat-box" vibe. (This is NOT the actual chat box mind you!) Note that this conversation is slightly edited but the contents real.

See for yourself...

Well, what do you know? It looks like we'll be kissing the rain after all. One more thing, I have managed to mention the word "Kiss the Rain" twice in this post, not counting  this one. kekeke. And if you want to know what it is all about, well, you can just check it here (sneak peak!

Back to what I was saying, so..yeah... we were reminiscing those moments when Tifa-chan asked me if I still have the picture which I answered, that the pictures were on the social networking site (get what I mean?) ;) Though, there is one that I somehow managed to save it or rather use it for a sort of the same cause, which she gladly, by the way, asked for it and I sent it to her. Minutes passed and a file was sent to me and when I opened it, I was really touched to see such gesture.

My heartfelt thanks to you Ma. Stephanie Yaun a.k.a Tifa-chan! ^____^

Evercrossed: Book 1

A Kissed by an Angel it is where the story of Tristan and Ivy began.

Evercrossed is where their story continues.

A year after Tristan died. After completing his mission Tristan moved on on the other side and  Ivy started moving on as well. She spent her summer at Cape Cod working in an inn together with her best friend Beth and her loving and dependable boyfriend Will. All she wants now is to put all of the horror of last year behind her and spend the summer peacefully and hanging out with her friends.

But then a car crash ends her life.

As she floats and see the life she has left behind. Tristan breathes life into her with a kiss. Ivy woke up in the hospital surrounded by Will, her family and friends and all she can think of is Tristan and  the love that she had lost.

But memories are not the only once that came back. Due to a seance, Ivy, Beth and her friends had done. A strange presence is creeping. A guy with no memories washes ashore. Feelings that were once lost now came back and danger is lurking beside her.

This time Ivy is not so sure, if love will be enough... to save her.

Anna Dressed in Blood

It has come to my attention that I haven't made a synopsis of one of my favorite books. Though, I have made a fuss about it. I guess it slowly slipped out of mind and forgot all about it. And now that I have looked into my previous blogs and encountered it (see here). I suddenly felt bad about not having to share it to the world of how good it was (it was for me, I don't know about you).

So, I solely dedicate this post to my horror- romance book

Cas Lowood is just your average boy with a glitch---he kills the dead.

So did his father and his father before him. He was contented with his life, normal even despite the hunting's and the killings, until the gruesome death of his father. The world turns grey and he now walks with the dead as he becomes a hunter to hunt his father's killer. With his deadly weapon the anthame, he can slice and kill any harmful ghost in the way. Cas, along with his white-with of a mother and their cat Tybalt, travel together to local places with legends and unexplained murders.

One of those towns that they have stayed was Thunderbay, a town where there is more to it than meets the eye. Cas and his family didn't come all the way to this new strange place just to have a fresh start. He came only to do what he does best.

He came for her.

The locals most talked about urban legend. Residing in an old abandoned Victorian house was a ghost whose kills are piling up. Legend has it that this ghost kills whoever steps foot inside the house, her house. Dressed in white dripping with blood, Cas must finish this once and for all so he can continue to hunt for his dad's killer.

But not everything is what it seems.
She was everything he never imagined.
He became uncertain for a reason he couldn't imagine.

Chasing The Sun

One fine afternoon, three girls were having a "girly session" inside the newly furbish white house. One was very busy with doing her friends hair, the other was busy applying some makeup whereas the last one was curious of the outcome.

The Lost Symbol

It's the first day of June!!! You know what this means? a couple more days and it's back to school! As for me, I shall start this month with a new post ;)

Before I became a fan of Dan Brown I've heard a lot of controversies pertaining to his work. How he wrote such revelations behind Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Supper" painting in his popular book "The Da Vinci Code" which stirs a commotion from the church. How he "mocked" such teachings and made people question their faith. That alone catches my attention. It was during my college years that I was able to read his work and that was "Angels and Demons" and after reading it that's the time I became a fan and I started to read his work especially when the stories centers about Robert Langdon.

As for this post, I'm going to post about, if I'm not mistaken his third Robert Langdon series "The Lost Symbol".

Harvard University Symbologist professor Robert Langdon was invited to give a lecture at the United States Capitol building by his good friend and mentor a 33rd degree Mason Peter Solomon who is also the head of the Smithsonian Instution. However, minutes after his arrival the night suddenly takes a bizarre turn when a bloody object stands in the middle of the floor in the Capital Rotunda. Upon closer inspection, Langdon realizes two things: One, the object was art fully crafted in recreation of the Hand of Mysteries, an invitation meant to usher the recipient into the long lost world of esoteric wisdom  and two, the bloody object on the floor is the none other the severed hand of Peter Solomon which means he's in great danger.

Now, Robert has reluctantly accepted the invitation to save his friend as he follows the instructions of Peter's kidnapper. Soon, he is tangled with masonic secrets, hidden history, and places he'd never seen before which will leads him to his goal.

Will Langdon save his friend?
Will they unmasked the perpetrator?
Will everything be turned into a lost cause?
What is the Lost Symbol?

"To live in the world without becoming aware of the meaning of the world is like wandering about in a great library without touching the books."
