Japan Memoirs: Spring in Kema Sakuranomiya Park

"It is a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that is also tragically short."
                                                                                                                               -Homaro Cantu-

Kema Sakuranomiya Park--is one of the best spots to do some hanami (it means flower viewing) in Osaka. There are nearly 5000 cherry blossom trees line the Okawa River. It's splendor can be viewed while cruising in the river or by the riverside promenade.

Japan Memoirs: Tenjin Matsuri---"Festival of the Gods"

I love being a part of something so many people can relate and enjoy"
- Karlie Kloss -

Tenjin Matsuri --- in Osaka is one of the top three festivals in Japan. This festival started a thousand years ago, it usually began on the 24th and ends on the 25th of July. The said festival is dedicated to Sugawara Michizane of the Tenmangu Shrine, who is said to be the god of learning and art.

Yep, I had to look that one up for history and knowledge purposes. One should know her history first before anything else. ;)

Memories

When one love is lost .
A new one is found.
......

Memories

My love for him will soon fade
cause his gone and far away.
I know my love for him will never be the same
even though he can't feel it in any way.

I won't steal back my memories from him
for I know he will feel blue.
I won't look back at the past, no more.
for I will put it behind me once more.

I  face the present and I found you.
You fill up my empty heart what once was blue.
My fears and tears vanished all the way.
for you are here with me to stay.

For some reasons, I'm no longer gloom
and I already feel the love that blooms.
Now, I face all the years with you
showing my love, totally just for you.

I do thank the Lord God
for he gave me a man who would proudly say "I'm yours".
A man who I truly adore.
And a man who will always love me...
Forevermore.

Sad Good-Bye

My poetic side strikes again! And why is it that every time I try to make a poem it always happens in a very gloomy day? Is this some sort of a pattern or something? Like a trigger perhaps? Even so, this is what I do know, I've said it before and I'm going to say it again. When my poetic side comes it is something I cannot, repeat, I CANNOT just ignore. If you please, bear with me (^_^)

Here's a piece that has been stashed up for quiet sometime now. This little piece of mine also happens to reflect about my perspective after rereading one of my favorite books----"A Walk to Remember", which I know you have read or watched. I have blogged about it too.

And now without further ado, let me take a minute of your time and read "Sad Good- Bye".

......

Sad Good-Bye

My love for you will never fade
yet you're led and far away.
My love for you will always be the same
though, you can't feel it in anyway.

I can't take the fact that you are gone.
Leaving me here sad and undone.
But, somethings tell me that I should never regret.
Instead, I should be thankful that you and I met.

Though this would be the last time that I could see you,
Still my heart beats only for you.

A Little Piece of That!

Summer's gone. Classes are commencing. The skies are being murky. Soon the roads will be covered with drizzles. The so hot weather before will now be replaced with a cool one.

As I looked outside the window to see if it rains, a message from my Skype suddenly popped into my computer's screen which made me smile and remember. I'm sure your curious about the contents of the message so I tweaked a little bit of here and there to get this "chat-box" vibe. (This is NOT the actual chat box mind you!) Note that this conversation is slightly edited but the contents real.

See for yourself...

......

......

Well, what do you know? It looks like we'll be kissing the rain after all. One more thing, I have managed to mention the word "Kiss the Rain" twice in this post, not counting  this one. kekeke. And if you want to know what it is all about, well, you can just check it here (sneak peak!

Back to what I was saying, so..yeah... we were reminiscing those moments when Tifa-chan asked me if I still have the picture which I answered, that the pictures were on the social networking site (get what I mean?) ;) Though, there is one that I somehow managed to save it or rather use it for a sort of the same cause, which she gladly, by the way, asked for it and I sent it to her. Minutes passed and a file was sent to me and when I opened it, I was really touched to see such gesture.

......

......

My heartfelt thanks to you Ma. Stephanie Yaun a.k.a Tifa-chan! ^____^

A Sort Of Tribute

I was searching through my files when I came across this cute picture. Hence forth, coming up with this post.

My colleague (you know who you are ) once sent this picture to me when she found out how bookish I am.
The first time I laid my eyes on the said picture, a really huge grin appeared on my face. Literally.

Anywho, according to her, she pictured me to be like this every time I got a new book.

And you know what the amazing thing is?

It so happens to be true.

______

Am I weird or what?

______

This is sort of a little tribute to the person who sent this to me. ;)

Ms. Steph, Thank you!

I sure did keep this and will continue to keep it.

Forever.

Looking Back

"Life is like an old photograph once captured it will never cease looking back at you."
......
There are times in our lives where we look back to the things that had already happened. It could be anything or specific. It could be our saddest memories or the happiest ones. And let's face it, most of us prefer not to remember the sad part. Trust me, I know. I'm one of the few.
Some of us may still wonder why it happened to us when it could happen to anybody. But why us? Sometimes the answer is right there in front us and what do we do? We pretended to be blind and not see.
Obstacles, challenges, trials----They're always there just waiting when to strike. I'm saying this in order for us to open our eyes and to NOT pretend we don't see.
Without having to face those we wouldn't be here and we wouldn't still be standing. A trial is given to us because he knows we can face it. It's our choice how to face it and how to take it. Stumbling and falling down are one of the things that we tend to encounter every now and then. Yet, amidst our trials and point of breaking down we stood up shaking knees and covered with bruises. Why? because it's our choice. Because we  believe we can do it.
......
In each step we take is a choice we make.
......
Life, is never an easy route to take. It's an adventure. Life, is never a fast forward kind of play, but taking things one step at a time.  Life may be considered short but it is long enough for us to live.
I have come to learned these things as I stumble and fall countless of times. And each time, I stand up and face it. My fears, my weaknesses, my flaws and my strength. And if ever you, yourself can't hold on anymore don't worry nobody is alone. That's why we have family and friends. To reach a helping hand, to wipe our tears and be there when we need them.
......
Acceptance is they key.
Believing in your self is a start.
Having faith is the answer.
......
Looking back at those times, I may still feel and remember the pain that I have once been through, but despite all of that, a curve slowly begins to show up on my face. I realized life can be perfect in an imperfect way. It can be possible in some impossible way. It is a treasure that we must appreciate.
It is not so bad to reminisce once in awhile and when you do, you'll end up  smiling and shaking your head when you remember those moments .
......
 Promise me you'll remember:
" You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think"
- A.A. Milne-

The Beginning of B.T.S.

"Behind every memorable picture lies a person who captures every moment of it"

___

This will be my tribute to every person who will capture the moments that are unforgettable, memorable and will last til immemorial.

There are certain times where we want to treasure the moments that are already buried in hearts into a different form and the most common is through Photographs.

Because of photographs, millions of quotes and expression were formed. Quotes that rings truth in every word.

" A picture paints a thousand words."

- True. For there are some instances that truth lies on what we see and not on what we hear.

“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”

- By taking photographs we captured every joyous moment and not letting a second passes by.

___

This will be the beginning of a chapter behind every great, funny, loving, amazing photo.

A chapter who's the main character is not the model themselves nor the  successful pictorial but the person behind it.

"The Photographer"

As a new page turns over, another moment is captured.

Let us witness as how these amazing people manage to work hard and love their passion behind the lense.
