The Soho

"There may be more beautiful times ---but this one is ours."
-Jean-Paul Sartre-

Gray skies and a chilly weather was what welcomed us when we stepped out from our workplace as we trudged along towards our destination for that afternoon. Despite the weather, it didn't stopped nor hinder us to pursue the said activity. After all, it was planned a month ago, no rain or strong wind can stop our date (Well, except for emergencies and thankfully there weren't any.whew!) and so onward we go.

Soho Park---is a cafe and restaurant located on the ground floor of Asia residences, Cebu IT Park, Apas Lahug beside Krispy Kreme. It's a cozy little place that serves really good food and not to mention tea. The ambiance is really comfortable and nice. It's a wonderful place for a date for two or even a group lunch.

My date for that afternoon planned the whole thing a month before it actually happened. She's the one who told me about this place and knowing my love for grub, I couldn't resist plus the place was lovely.

And before I do proceed, let me introduce my lovely date for that afternoon. She is Terina Opura who I affectionately call Ririna. She's got an amazing voice, a wonderful heart and a dirty mind ;) ( Ahahaha...Kidding!)

Anywho, we have noticed that we mostly got the place to ourselves every time we go visit some place for a date. I don't know if whether we just got out early from work or were that lucky (but let's just settle for the latter, shall we?)

We ordered some all breakfast food and some Honey and ginger tea for us to be satiated since I'm basically famished and to warm ourselves up since it was raining cats and dogs outside.

While waiting for our food to be served, this dear soulsistah of mine, decided to have a mini photo shoot in this place since, well, we almost own the place since no one was there. (Except for the servers and us of course.)

Here are some of those countless shots. These were taken by yours truly and Ririna.

Here are some behind the scenes shots that this crazy date of mine captured while I was doing other things.

And since it's a date we couldn't possibly leave you without some photos of us, could we?

Our dates usually ends up with lots of laughter, reminisced memories, talks about life, little dirty humor and dreams about what the future might bring. And though, the clock was ticking, that day felt like it was both long and short especially when you're in good company.

A good afternoon well spent with good company is as good as any treasure found in sunken ships.

Till next time ;)
