Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess with golden hair. She could have anything she desires. When she was bout a child she remembered they were not allowed to utter the word "spindle" and even the whole kingdom was banned for having a spindle.

Hence, the princess didn't know what it is. As she was gifted with beauty, grace, musical talent and intelligence by the good ole fairies. The princess was a spoiled brat. She was used to getting her way.

Concerned by her actions, the king and queen were worried about her. Especially when a certain witch cast a spell on their dearly beloved - spoiled- princess.

" Before she reached her sixteenth birthday. She will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and the kingdom will fall into a deep sleep and will fade away deep from the forest away from the view."

So, what happens when the princess disobeyed and didn't heed the warning?

The entire Kingdom fell into a deep sleep.

In a hundred years passed, the princess woke up from her slumber with a kiss.  The entire kingdom was finally awake.

What turns out to be a happy beginning becomes a disaster when they find out that torches are now replaced with flashlights? The carriages are now cars ? not to mention you can call and hear other peoples voice  through the means of a mobile phone? Blaming the princess for her disobedience, the outraged King banished the princess.

In the strange new land, the princess was exiled along with her so-called- prince, who was also on his own struggle of running away from what his parents want him to be and following his dreams .

One was running away.

The other was trying to escape.

Would they help each other out?

More importantly..Is he her true love?

......

In this retelling story of "Sleeping Beauty" here's another twist that are all set in the modern era.

Kiss the Rain

Sometimes the weather has a strong influence over us. It affects our mood drastically. From being bright as sunny to being gloomy like the dark clouds.

Even so, we can't change the fact that no matter how bad or good the weather is there's still beauty in it. Like the rain for example.  I love watching the rain.  I love how the way it drops  and its smell as it finally hit the ground. Even though Christmas was just around the corner, it didn't stopped the rain to pour down every now and then.

There are moments like these that we must treasure. The beauty of nature and its wonders. We should appreciate it every now and then. Cause who knows, we might realize one day that all of it will be lost and for us, we won't know its true value may it be a thing or a person until its gone.

Before its too late appreciate what you can see, hear, smell, taste and feel.

In my case,  Kiss the Rain.

Live Life.

Love Life.

Who said that love can only exist between two good looking people?

Who said that you can have love only if you're rich?

Who said that you can sell love?

Who said that you can buy love?

These are some of the questions we came acroos every now and then. So, let's add another one. 

Do you believe in witches? In magic? How about true love?

Hmmm...does it sound too familiar? If not, then let me give you a sneak peak of a story. A story, about a boy who does not know what love really is and a simple girl.

In New York City, lives Kyle Kingsbury. A boy who has the looks, the money and even the fame. But, looks can be deceiving. Looks isn't everything. On the outside, he is tall, blonde, rich. Most school girls were after him, but, on the inside he's rotten. He does a lot of mean things to people he calls "ugly". Kyle Kingsbury has it all. He rules the school. He's confident. He thinks he is so perfect. He thinks everything can be solved with good looks and money. Or so he thought...

"Never mess with a girl" that's what they say,and yet, Kyle ignores the warning. How about "Never mess with a witch?" who are you kidding right? In the 21st century, witches no longer exist. Or so he thought. Again. He was warned once not to make things so easy for her. He laughed it off. She gave him a chance. He let it go. So now, she gave him---comeupance.

"You are ugly now, on the inside, where it matters most. You are a beastly."

He has two years to break the curse.

He has two years to find true love.

To love him for what he is.

To love him for who he is.

But...

Who could ever love a...beast?

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

This year may all of us have a fun-tasti-scary year.

Here in my work place, we get to dress-up according to plan, not so-planned and definitely not planned costumes . On my part, It's definitely not planned since I was so confident that its okay not to dress-up unlike last year, but, boy was I wrong . Come to think of it, last year was also "a not planned" kind of get up. It just so happens that it my devil horns goes along with my attire last year. What do you know, huh? tsk tsk tsk.

Anywho, here are some people who out done themselves by being scary, not so scary and not scary at all.

The photo shoot that up until now made me laugh and made me embarrassed at the same time has now come to its end. As promised, I will post all of the pictures here in my blog once she's done editing. Though, It did took a lot of time since it needs a lot of concentration and skills  on her part (Now where have I heard of that before?). Yet, it's still make you wonder what pictures she'll put together (I've been there, I know.)

Yesterday, the photographer herself sent me a message saying that I should check out the photos on facebook. Which made me, by the way, confused as to what she is talking about. After a  long explanation and a lot of confusion on my side --again. I finally put two and two together ( That's four! Kidding.)

 And Viola!!! Here they are!!!

Get Well Soon!

Three days ago, a certain someone was not feeling well. She told me that she somehow feels sluggish and cold. Though, when I touched her she said that I am much colder than her. (I wonder why?)

I was extremely worried since she didn't replied to my previous messages that I sent her via text. (Now, I'm more worried)

Though, I find relief when she answered my call yesterday (Finally). It was my last resort since there are a lot of things running on my mind by that time. When I heard her voice it was relatively small and weak unlike her usual boisterous self. I may be a worry wart ( I can't help it) but, I was indeed thankful and at ease knowing that she's at  home and recuperating.

So, I thought of something that somehow might cheer her up. It may be small I was hoping that this little message of mine can put a smile on her face.

Labs, this one's for you.

The Book Worm

Anna 2: The Second Book

I was left hanging in there when I finished reading the first book of Anna Dressed in Blood. I was practically sad that I couldn't get to read a satisfying ending. In other words, I was disappointed. It took me awhile to get over it.

To take my mind off it. I was busy browsing the net looking for some good books to read when I came across a very familiar figure of the book cover. I blinked twice and a huge grin spread across my face.

Guess what?

I found it!!! The second and final installment of the book.

I did a spaz dance after finding it  (It happens from time to time, so don't be all O.o on me.)

The title is  Girl of Nightmares.
