Rainforest Adventure Part 2

Gear it up!

Didn't I tell you on my previous post that me and my sisters were going to do something a bit extreme? Well, technically, our own definition of extreme. 

Rainforest Adventure Part 1

Hey guys! How's the start of your year? Me? Well, I'm behind post after post so bear with me for a couple of seconds. (Gome gome)

Anywho, this year I'm going to start it up by posting the previous activities that I have done last year. It all happened on the 26th of December when my family decided to go somewhere to do more bonding. Our destination---Rainforest Park.

"Whenever I see girls and boy selling lanterns on the street, I remember the child in the manger as he sleeps..."

This are the famous lines that I always get to hear every time my dad plays a Christmas song when the calendar reaches its "-ber" month. I have been listening to this same song for the past years and I still never get tired of it and whenever I heard of this song no matter where I am. It reminds me of home. Home a word that makes my heart flutter and warm. Home a word that rings happiness to my ears.

Home the most perfect place to spend Christmas together with your loved ones which I whole heartily agree. This are one of the things that I enjoy doing the most. My family and I loved Christmas. The days passed so very fast and now it's FINALLY HERE! 

If I Stay

For these past few days, I have been too preoccupied mostly with books (like when did it NEVER made me preoccupied?) In my defense, there's just so many good books these days that I, a self confessed bookworm, can't sit still and just ignore it.

Because of these books which by far, some are not yet even sold in the country, I have no other choice but to wait patiently. Lucky for me, having patience happens to be one of my virtues so, I guess it's alright. Or not. Anyways, that's enough dilly-dallying and let me get straight to point. Remember when I said there are so many good books out there? Yes. That one. I, just happened to came across one and it's a really good book I tell you. Considering the fact that it made me cry (or I'm just a cry baby? O.o I don't know which one it is).

The book was written by Gayle Foreman which has the title "If I Stay".

Miracle in Cell No. 7

It was a talk about Korean movie in 2013 that brought laughter and tears to the viewers. The story depicts the life of one man and his daughter. How everything changes when one was falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit. How even though beyond the bars of the prison cell, love is still the strongest bond that can bring the daughter and the father together.

In this movie, I assure you that you will need lots and lots of tissue, I know I did. As I was watching this movie I couldn't help myself but laugh as the situation demands. It was hilarious how Lee Yong-gu, the father, got along with his inmates in the most harshest cell in prison, cell no. 7. And when you thought that everything is just for laughs, you thought completely wrong. Soon, you will find yourself sniffing and tears slowly falling from your eyes as the story progresses. You will see how a father would do anything for his daughter and how the bond between them affects and changed the people around them.

Synopsis:

Lee Yong- gu is an intellectually handicapped person with the mindset of a six year old. He lived together with his seven year old daughter Ye-sung who is smarter than her peers. The two of them lived a happy life until the commissioner's daughter was found dead and Yong-gu was the one who found her.Falsely accused the crime he didn't commit. Ye-sung was sent to childcare and Yong-gu was sent to the most harshest cell in the maximum security prison cell no.7.

Schaun's 1st Birthday

Last August 29, 2013 we celebrated the first birthday of my beloved nephew Shaun Eadric. It was a funny costume party. Every little kid was wearing their costumes by heart. Shaun " GuGu" as I call him was wearing a cowboy costume.
