December 23 --- was the day where my soul sister, Terina, and I had our early Christmas date. We somehow managed, planned, and decided that we'll have a date in the month of December starting last year. That was why we were so excited! Terina was the one who planned everything (give her a clap lass and lads!) since we all know I'm unfortunately not so skilled in that department. One thing was for sure when choosing a place it has to serve really good----food! :D

Fact: It was quite a struggle for us to locate this place when we first heard of it since none of us had been to the place nor area before (the struggle is real you guys!). Thus, to be able to reach our destined destination was such an achievement. Hah! so, without further ado, do read on.

Useong Chuncheon Dak Galbi --- is Korean restaurant that is located beside Greenwich across Burger King at General Maxillom Avenue (I know, I know, my directions are so bad, but hey! I'm trying here.) For this gang right here, with mouths to feed and such monstrous appetite, this restaurant happens to be just right for us. ;)

Japan Memoirs: Spring in Kema Sakuranomiya Park

Kema Sakuranomiya Park--is one of the best spots to do some hanami (it means flower viewing) in Osaka. There are nearly 5000 cherry blossom trees line the Okawa River. It's splendor can be viewed while cruising in the river or by the riverside promenade.

The Unexpected

To never expect anything--- is sort of what my brain has been hay-wired for these past two years. However, when it does hit you, ohhh boy! It still got the best out of me. 

Something to "Yolk" About

Yolk - Coffee and Breakfast --- is a little resto here in Cebu that specializes in food with eggs served during breakfast, hence the name, and coffee. Cause of course, who doesn't like coffee?

Japan Memoirs: Tenjin Matsuri---"Festival of the Gods"

Tenjin Matsuri --- in Osaka is one of the top three festivals in Japan. This festival started a thousand years ago, it usually began on the 24th and ends on the 25th of July. The said festival is dedicated to Sugawara Michizane of the Tenmangu Shrine, who is said to be the god of learning and art.

Yep, I had to look that one up for history and knowledge purposes. One should know her history first before anything else. ;)

Gray skies and a chilly weather was what welcomed us when we stepped out from our workplace as we trudged along towards our destination for that afternoon. Despite the weather, it didn't stopped nor hinder us to pursue the said activity. Winter Eat Out!

Cold wind and the bustling of people walking to and fro from the train station is the usual sight in the city of Osaka. People covered with warm coats and scarves walk hurriedly to their destinations. While others, stood in one corner waiting.

That's what we did. 

MM and I were waiting patiently for our friends to arrive and for us to meet up, chat and eat out since it has been such a long time since we last saw each other.  I thought it was only Hide who's going to come, however, I was in for a surprise when another friend of ours, Yukie, came as well. Yay! :D Seems like I wasn't paying attention at all when MM told me about the news. (teheh! >.<) But anyways, I was happy. Now our mission is about to start!!!
